2025 Postseason Substitution Policy
Substitutions will be allowed for the NCAA and NIT tournaments.
Position guidelines will be followed. If a player in a guard spot is scratched, the highest guard in your substitution list will be substituted. Same for F, F/C and Flex. If multiple substitutions are required, they are optimally placed to maintain the submitted player order as closely as possible. For example, if a G and F are scratched and the order of your subs is G/F, G, F - the G will be slotted into the G roster spot, and the G/F into the F roster spot.
The order needs to be submitted before the start of the first game of the cycle. Send the list of your subs (can be one player or your whole roster) and your team name to CFBBsubs@gmail.com.
In order for a player to be substituted, the starting player must have a game schedule and 0 minutes played. Being injured does not matter. If a game is cancelled, that player is eligible for substitution. If the player is on a BYE, they are not eligible for substitution.
- All players are FA's.
- Dropped players will go on waivers for 24 hours.
- Waiver order will be the reverse order of the first round of the draft. From there, it will be based on claims made. When an owner executes a claim, that owner will drop to the end of the list. That owner will move up on that list as other owners execute claims afterwards and drop to the bottom of the list behind that owner. The order will never reset.
- Player pool consists of players from the A10, AAC, ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big Ten, Mountain West, and SEC.
- The maximum number of owners per player pool will be 18. If necessary, multiple player pools will be used.
- An order will only have access to 1 player pool. The number of owners per player pool will be even across the league.
- The champion each year receives naming rights to the league and conferences until the following season. The name must have a connection to the owner's favorite team and the conferences after players from the owner's favorite team.
- As changes are made to the league they are recorded on the page below.
